Samsung Admire Review, Specifications and User Guide - The Samsung Admire doesnt look or feel like a high-class system. Created entirely of shiny black plastic, with a distinctive back section and ribbed artists operating along the edges, this isnt a mobile cellphone youll be operating to show your friends. But at 4.6 by 2.4 by .5 inches wide (HWD) and 4.1 oz., its lightweight and easy to hold. The 3.5-inch, 320-by-480-pixel capacitive touchscreen technology looks appropriately distinct and shiny enough, though certainly not on par with higher end gadgets. Four clicky components function important factors sit below the display. Entering sensed somewhat pain in on the on-screen Swype QWERTY key pad, though calling numbers was excellent.

The Samsung Admire is a tri-band, 2G 1xRTT (800/1700/1900 MHz) system with 802.11b/g Wi-Fi. It linked with my WPA2-encrypted Wi-Fi network without a problem. Party was excellent, but speech excellent was combined. Calling seemed relatively full and noisy in the ear piece, but comments had a automatic excellent. On the other end, calls created using the mobile cellphone seemed muffled and ambiguous, though disturbance termination was very good. Calling seemed better through an Jawbone Symbol Wireless ear phones ($99, 4 stars) and speech calling proved helpful excellent over Wireless without training. The speaker phone is far too silent to use outside. Power supply was average, at 5 hours 18 minutes of talk-time.
